Based out of Kodiak and Homer, AK, we offer all-inclusive, vessel-based hunts for Sitka Blacktail Deer, Black Bear, and Sea Ducks in some of the most remote and stunning parts of Alaska. The Venturess is your floating base camp-comfortable, safe, and outfitted with everything you need for a successful DIY hunt, from wide walkaround decks and gourmet meals to bunk space for 12 and top-of-the-line navigation and safety gear.
Whether you’re trekking the rugged coastlines of Kodiak in pursuit of trophy Sitka Blacktail, glassing the Kenai Peninsula for Black Bear, or adding Sea Duck hunting to your fall trip, you’ll have access to prime, unpressured terrain that’s inaccessible to traditional drop-off operations. With easy skiff access to remote beaches and a healthy population of mature bucks, these hunts are a favorite for return clients. Plus, you’ll have the chance to fill your freezer with what many say is the best-tasting venison around, or reel in halibut, salmon, and rockfish between hunts.
Our seasons run from April through December, with prime opportunities for bear in the spring and a mix of deer, ducks, and fishing in the fall. And yes-non-hunting guests are welcome too.
